Tutorial - Valentine's Day Watercolour Wash Card
Made a Valentine's day card!
I tried to use the water colour wash
technique for this one. Here's how you can
make one on your own. It's super easy!
Materials:
1. A plastic bag
2. Sketch pens
3. Spray bottle/toothbrush
4. Thick paper
5. Tissue/paper towel
Steps:
1. Colour with your favourite colours on the plastic
2. Spray water on the colours with the spray bottle or toothbrush
3. Press your piece of paper firmly on the
spot where you put water and then remove
4. Press a tissue on the wet paper to absorb the excess water
5. Done!
If you're using normal printer paper:
I didn't have any thick paper so I used
regular printer paper. Water tends to make
the paper warp so, if you have that problem you can follow the steps below to make the paper flat:
1. On the back of the paper, lightly dab water with a thin towel or handkerchief
2. Put it between some newspaper
3. Place books or any heavy object on top to add pressure
4. Leave for at least 20 minutes to an hour
5. Take it out and you'll have a flat piece of
paper!
That's it for me! This is my first blog post
and on my blog I will be sharing doodles,
poetry and my thoughts, art tutorials,
reviews of my favourite books, and some
cool photos!
